Sketch - A - Day!...weak update
Okay, so here are a few updates...not as many as I'd like, but there you go.
072
I'll count these as 1. My interpretation of Miss Masque, or Masquerade as she's known these days.
073
My interpretation of the new Wonder Woman costume design by Jim Lee. Like most, I'm not down with the jacket, so I tried to make the shoulder pads work without it. Don't think I cracked the case on that.
074
"You know what Jack Burton says at a time like this..."

Blast from the Past
Here's a mention in Beau Smith's ongoing column at Westfield Comics, and embarrassing flashback for everyone that Beau roped into contributing.

068-070
068
This one I did before we left for Colombia. Another Green Lama - clothes are the same, but I made him older and did a better drawing.
069
These were done sometime between 2am and 3am when I spent the night at the airport in Bogota (thank you Aires airlines). Vacuum cleaner man did a good job of keeping people up, the other guy had the interesting technique of emptying his pockets and stuffing the contents into his shirt before taking a snooze. Finally, silhouette of guitar guy strumming in the corner.
070
My take on Fighting Yank.
062-067
This batch of drawings were done either from memory while sitting in airports in Cali, Colombia or Bogota, Colombia or live. I'll tell ya what's what.
062
From memory and honestly the cart could have been bigger and still accurate.
063
This one was done from life sitting on the front deck of my in-laws farm looking down the hill at the new corral...which currently holds some fat bunnies. Done with a brush pen.
064
Done from memory...the kid I saw in Bogota, the lady I saw near Villa de Leyva.
065
This one was done live in pencil from Tia Maria Eugenia's living room looking out towards the patio/garden.
066 - 067
Yes, I know that there are 3, but the bike is the worst. The little boy is the son of the couple that works on the in-laws farm. The soldiers on the side of the road give passing cars the "thumbs-up" to assure them that the road is free from guerillas.
