2 Juggernauts...no, I don't know why, but I was on an oversized character kick, hence the Hulk too. Next time you'll see the Sasquatch I did and forgot to scan.

There's a little snow on the ground today, so as an extra treat, here are some sketch-a-day updates!

One day, not sure why, the Bakshi movie Wizards was on my mind, and then I saw a mention on Facebook...it must have been a sign to draw some stuff...

...but since that one was kinda lame, I did some more yesterday. Interpretations of the main characters from the movie - Avatar, Elinore, Weehawk and Necron 99/Peace. (Yes, I'm counting this as 4.)

Okay, let's try this again...It's day 2 of the new year, so here are sketches to start things off.

Last one for 2010! These are the characters from Cryptopia...copyright me and Ben Raab.
I think that I'll probably do this again next year...hopefully I'll make it all the way through.

I meant to upload these this morning...ah well...So I thought the predominantly black, and predominantly white, sketches would go quickly, but they did not for whatever reason. At 201, that makes it well over half-way through the year, so I'm at least at the appropriate spot for starting in June.

I'm trying to catch up on the new Avengers animated show...I like the way the stories are developing and linking up. I kinda wonder how many beans are being spilled with the movie franchise(s), hopefully none, but the content of the show is pretty cool.


...sorry about the lame Tron dude...I set the timer for 5 minutes to see if I could increase my output and there you go. I may try the 5 minute thing again.

My interpretation of the new Wonder Woman costume design by Jim Lee. Like most, I'm not down with the jacket, so I tried to make the shoulder pads work without it. Don't think I cracked the case on that.

Sketch - A - Day!..starting in June???

So, yeah, a few months ago I came across Cory Walker's sketch-a-day blog, which is really cool and thought, "Hey what a swell idea, I should do that!" Months later, here we are at day 150 or something and I haven't posted anything...woo-hoo!
Time management for something like this is more daunting than I thought, mostly because if I spend 15 minutes on a "sketch" that's about 20% - 50% of my total drawing time on the weeknights. Boo-hoo...excuses, excuses...anyway, here we go in something that may not be remotely close to chronological order:
